Credit Analyst (Australia Process, 6-months internship)

About the Opportunity:
Our Credit base in Mumbai which processes all credit applications for our clients throughout Australia is seeking to recruit a proactive and energetic full-time Credit Representative. The role is suited to individuals who have a personable and outgoing phone manner, are genuinely committed to providing an incomparable customer experience, and are capable of working harmoniously as part of our team.
We are looking to recruit individuals who have a positive, can-do attitude, have excellent attention to detail, and have the desire to build a career in the Finance Industry.

Skills, Experience & Attributes Required:

• Honesty and Dedication: You must be committed to adding value to the company and your position.
• Excellent Communication: Outstanding spoken and written English is a MUST. Exceptional phone manners are essential, as your ability to connect with callers will be a key strength.
• Attention to Detail: A focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks is critical.
• Previous Experience: Data entry experience across multiple systems, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems, is favorable.
• Relevant Qualifications: Educational background in Accounting, Banking, or Finance is advantageous.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Enter inquiries into the company software program.
• Manage the loan application process from start to finish for all finance requirements.
• Complete loan applications and client fact finds.
• Perform credit assessments and loan servicing of client applications.
• Review clients' financial information where applicable.
• Ensure files are compliant and ready to proceed.
• Upload and lodge applications.
• Order valuations.
• Liaise with banks, solicitors, accountants, and real estate agents to ensure a smooth lending experience and that settlements are met on time.
• Communicate with clients throughout the loan application process.
• Follow up with clients, lenders, and other professionals for any outstanding requirements.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required.
• Conduct outbound calls to existing/dormant customers.
