Loss Prevention Specialist

The primary objective of the SLP Specialist is to provide security services, investigation, and asset protection in their designated area of responsibility, assist in mitigating product loss, and maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with India Security and Loss Prevention guidelines and policies. Ability to work on various tools and perform trend analysis using data mining, monitoring, and related analytics to detect patterns indicating theft, fraud, or abuse.

The role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions. SLP specialists day-to-day activities involve planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing, and executing processes and procedures laid down by the organisation and the SLP function. Identify the shrink aspects of the Easyshipeifjcbj/Seller Flex network, including delivery partners. Identify the potential pilferage opportunities and organized fraud, and work closely with the concerned stakeholders to mitigate the causes of losses. Optimal utilization of the resources to ensure and maintain high-quality and timely support for business teams. Conduct a risk assessment and process audit for the respective sites and work in accordance with the security policies and guidelines.

1. Security Operation.
Implementation and Follow-up of a Loss Prevention Plan in the Easyship and SellerFlex networks

2. Audits and compliance
Conducting SLP audits and implementing SOPs
Preparation of Documents for Internal and External Audits
Surprise check and reports at EDSPs.
Seller visits and process improvement
Adhering to SLAs defined for the ES/SF SLP Program

3. Process Improvement and Loss Prevention Program
Process review, gap analysis, and necessary improvements on weekly, monthly, and quarterly assessments.
Loss Prevention Reporting feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
Drive corrective and preventive process changes that could impact the shrink reduction matrix positively.
Recommending loss prevention initiatives based on on-ground intel.

4. Loss Prevention Analysis and Investigation
Weekly loss trend analysis: identifying the defeats and work of the loss input reduction. Ability to conduct detailed investigations within the policy framework, identify root causes, write reports, and develop process formulation, compliance, and improvement. Investigate by working closely with the ES/SF business team and supporting functions in SLP related areas. Meeting the weekly investigation targets and submission of reports. Sharing RCAs and PTG initiatives on shrink and unmet goals

5. Liaison with Legal and Compliance Effectively engage with law enforcement in matters related to investigation or loss prevention while adhering to all applicable laws. University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification. A minimum of 7-10 years in Security and Loss prevention role, law enforcement or security-related profession. Extensive and up to date knowledge of Shrink management and Data Analysis. Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature. Knowledge of information security processes and systems. Experience in security auditing
