About the Role : We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our Direct Sales team. This role is responsible for the identification, onboarding, and growth of High Value Seller (HVS) accounts on Amazon.in. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Brand and Distributor account management and will excel in developing businesses from the ground up in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a trusted advisor to clients, driving success for both sellers and Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Develop business strategies to identify, pitch, and onboard High Value Seller accounts. Align stakeholders to execute a successful marketplace sales strategy.
Business Growth: Drive growth by monitoring key performance metrics and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve customer and seller experiences.
Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with High Value Sellers (e.g., Trademark Registered Brands and National Brand Distributors) and internal teams. Act as a team player, trusted advisor, and business advocate.
Process Excellence: Gather customer feedback, track market trends, and analyze metrics to create features and programs that accelerate seller growth and improve collaboration with Amazon. Identify areas for improvement and simplify processes.
A Day in the Life
On a daily basis, you will focus on achieving revenue targets by driving strategic conversations and implementing growth strategies for named HVS accounts. You will focus on account-level KPIs, such as enhancing brand presence, improving advertising strategies, and ensuring product quality to generate sales orders. Your role will also involve providing insights to influence marketplace policies and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to align initiatives.
About the Team
This role is part of the Direct Sales team, responsible for onboarding and growing marquee brands and brand partners as direct sellers on the Amazon marketplace.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of sales experience
Strong analytical skills to assess performance drivers
Proven experience working with data to drive decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
Experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Previous experience in e-commerce
Experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
