As a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) in this team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a highly scalable, reliable and efficient reporting and analytical system to support the fast-growing business. You will be collaborating with various business teams in identifying reporting/analytical requirement, building required data model, acquiring new data sources and building comprehensive data visualizations for key stakeholders. You will mine data, identify data co-relation across different functional areas, run statistical analysis, gather insights and make recommendations based on your findings to help senior leaders make key business decisions. Data analysis is at the core Amazon s culture and your work will have a direct impact on decision making and strategy for organizations. You will work with analytic tools, can write excellent SQL scripts, optimize performance of SQL queries and can partner with internal customers to answer key business questions. We look for candidates who are self-motivated, flexible, hardworking and who like to have fun. - 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e. g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
