As a Software Development Manager of Deliver Service Partner (DSP) Tech, you will be instrumental in building the next generation Business Health tools and technologies that helps Amazon, DSPs, and drivers around the world manage one of the largest and safest delivery services on the planet. You will be responsible for leading the team through rapidly evolving complex demands and own the product roadmap, design, development, testing, deployment and operations of multiple services. To be successful in this position, you need to be a hands-on technical manager who understands and sets a high bar for all parts of the software development and deployment life-cycle including: design, development, documentation, testing and operations. You need to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional and technical teams, and individuals at all levels of the organization.

A successful candidate will be responsible for the end to end ownership of a technology team and its direct service dependencies, and setting the technical vision for developing our systems to serve our customer s needs. The candidate will have proven ability to hire and develop a diverse software engineering team that is customer-focused, team oriented, and have the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The candidate will show strong business and technical judgment that will accelerate time to market of releases, while incrementally moving our services towards the north star vision. - 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
