Automation & Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

Looking for a Specialist is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance of industrial automation systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), instrumentation, and other control systems. This role ensures that all manufacturing equipment and processes function efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring high-quality production. The specialist will work closely with the engineering and production teams to implement automation solutions, carry out routine maintenance, and resolve technical issues.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and control systems to resolve issues and improve reliability.
• Calibrate, install, and maintain industrial instruments like sensors and transmitters.
• Diagnose and repair instrumentation faults.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze and improve automation processes to boost efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with engineers to design optimized control strategies.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades and modernization.
• Assist in installing, testing, and commissioning new automation systems.
• Work with vendors to set up complex systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
