Primary Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning & Delivery:

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate science lessons aligned with the school curriculum and standards.
• Incorporate hands-on activities, experiments, and demonstrations to foster curiosity and understanding.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Classroom Management:

• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Encourage active participation and ensure all students are engaged in the learning process.

Assessment & Evaluation:

• Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and projects to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.

Curriculum Development:

• Collaborate with other teachers to develop, review, and enhance the science curriculum.
• Stay updated with advancements in teaching methodologies and integrate them into lesson plans.

Student Support:

• Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement and provide individual support as needed.
• Foster a love for science and encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Resource Management:

• Prepare and manage materials and equipment needed for science experiments and activities.
• Ensure all resources are used safely and responsibly.

Professional Development:

• Attend training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to enhance teaching skills.
• Stay updated with new developments in science education.

Extracurricular Contributions:

• Support science-related extracurricular activities, such as science fairs or clubs, as needed.
