Video Editor (with Video Shooting & Graphic Design Skills)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a multi-talented Video Editor with expertise in video shooting, editing, and graphic design. The ideal candidate is a creative all-rounder with strong technical skills in video production, graphic design, and post-production. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of creating high-quality video content, including planning, shooting, editing, and designing graphics to enhance visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Production: Handle all aspects of video production, including camera operation, lighting setup, sound recording, and directing shoots. Ensure high-quality footage is captured for all projects.
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, visually engaging videos, including trimming, sequencing, adding music, sound effects, grading, and transitions.
• Graphic Design: Create custom graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance videos and promotional materials. Work with tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects to design thumbnails, logos, and other branding elements.
• Project Planning: Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and plan video concepts, storyboards, shot lists, and scripts to align with the brand and project goals.
• Sound Design & Editing: Sync and edit audio, mix soundtracks, and ensure clear, high-quality audio for all video content.
• Post-Production: Oversee all post-production tasks, including color correction, motion graphics, animation, and final rendering.
• Equipment Management: Manage video equipment, including cameras, lighting, sound devices, and props. Ensure all equipment is maintained and ready for use.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all video and graphic content aligns with the brands visual identity and design guidelines.
• Content Optimization: Adapt content for various platforms (social media, websites, TV, etc.), ensuring appropriate formats and video lengths. Optimize videos for search engines and social media algorithms.
• File Management: Maintain an organized library of video and graphic files for easy access and future use.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video production, shooting, and editing.
• Strong proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Expertise in graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or similar software.
• Excellent understanding of video composition, lighting, camera angles, and storytelling techniques.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and audio mixing.
• Strong understanding of file management and video compression techniques.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Great communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in film production, multimedia arts, graphic design, or related fields.
• Knowledge of current trends in digital marketing, social media, and video production.
• Experience with photography and photo editing is a plus.
• Familiarity with drone shooting and other advanced filming techniques.
