Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing GitOps, automating infrastructure management, and deploying cloud services in AWS and/or GCP environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development and operations, to ensure seamless integration, continuous deployment, and stability of client-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Kubernetes Management : Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Use Terraform to automate and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.

- Containerization : Create and maintain Docker images, ensuring proper build and deployment of containerized applications.

- CI/CD Pipelines : Develop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.

- GitOps : Implement GitOps workflows to streamline deployment processes and ensure consistency across environments.

- Cloud Platforms : Architect, deploy, and manage cloud resources in AWS or GCP, ensuring cost optimization, scalability, and security best practices.

- Client Collaboration : Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver robust solutions that meet their needs.

- Monitoring & Logging : Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure high availability and performance.

- Automation & Scripting : Automate repetitive tasks and optimise workflows using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.

- Collaboration & Support : Work in a collaborative team environment, supporting developers, operations, and clients in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of infrastructure.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles with a focus on Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD.

- Cloud Expertise : Proficient in AWS or GCP cloud environments, with experience in infrastructure management and deployment.

- CI/CD Tools : Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent.

- Infrastructure as Code : Deep knowledge of Terraform and related IaC tools for managing complex cloud environments.

- Containerisation : Extensive experience in Docker, Kubernetes (K8s) cluster management, and orchestration.

- GitOps : Experience implementing GitOps workflows using tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.

- Client-Facing Experience : Proven ability to manage and execute client-facing projects, including clear communication and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Scripting : Strong automation and scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

- Collaboration : Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Certifications : AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or GCP DevOps Certification (preferred but not required).
