Web & CMS Operations Manager - Javascript Frameworks (7-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Operational Excellence & Performance Optimization :

- Manage daily operations : Oversee all aspects of web and CMS operations, ensuring uptime, security, and optimal performance for client websites and platforms.

- Monitor and optimize : Utilize monitoring tools and analytics to track website and CMS performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks, errors, and security vulnerabilities.

- Implement best practices : Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for web operations, security, and content management.

- Lead troubleshooting efforts : Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues, coordinating with development and support teams as needed.

- Conduct regular audits : Perform comprehensive audits of website and CMS platforms to identify vulnerabilities, performance issues, and areas for improvement.

Content Management & Optimization :

- Oversee content operations : Manage the content lifecycle, including creation, updates, maintenance, and archival, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency.

- Optimize for engagement : Implement SEO best practices and content optimization strategies to enhance user engagement, drive organic traffic, and improve search engine rankings.

- Manage multilingual websites : Oversee translation workflows, content localization, and cultural adaptation for multilingual websites, ensuring a seamless user experience across different languages and regions.

Collaboration & Client Success :

- Work cross-functionally : Collaborate effectively with design, development, marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of content, features, and functionality.

- Coordinate with clients : Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and professional support, addressing their concerns, and keeping them informed about website and CMS performance.

- Manage vendor relationships : Maintain relationships with third-party vendors providing web hosting, security, and other services, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met and costs are optimized.

Technical Leadership & Innovation :

- Stay ahead of the curve : Continuously research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and trends in web operations and CMS management, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.

- Lead technical initiatives : Drive technical projects, such as CMS upgrades, performance enhancements, and security implementations, ensuring successful outcomes and minimal disruption.

- Mentor and develop the team : Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to web operations team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Reporting, Analysis, & Documentation :

- Track key metrics : Generate and analyze reports on website performance, user behavior, and other relevant metrics, providing insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

- Identify trends and opportunities : Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization, making data-driven recommendations to enhance website performance and user experience.

- Maintain documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of web operations processes, procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

- Process Improvement & Innovation :

- Streamline workflows : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve overall productivity.

- Embrace automation : Explore and implement automation tools and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and increase operational agility.

Required Qualifications :

- Proven Experience : 7+ years of experience in web operations management, with a strong understanding of CMS platforms (e., WordPress, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager), web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), web analytics tools, SEO, and content optimization techniques.

- Technical Skills : Demonstrated proficiency in server administration, cloud infrastructure, web security, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Leadership & Communication : Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify creative solutions.
