Role Overview :
Altrocks Tech is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 8-10 years of expertise in business process analysis, SAP FICO, and CO-PA.
The consultant will play a key role in optimizing financial processes, driving business performance, and supporting S/4HANA implementations across various modules.
This position requires a strong understanding of finance systems, profitability analysis, and integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities :
S/4HANA Implementation :
- Lead and participate in S/4HANA FI/CO implementation projects, ensuring smooth integration with other modules such as FI-MM and FI-SD.
Financial Process Optimization :
- Analyze and improve business financial processes, providing solutions that enhance performance and delivering actionable financial reports.
CO-PA Expertise :
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) to optimize financial processes and provide clear financial insights.
Month-end and Year-end Closing :
- Handle periodical closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting during month-end and year-end processes.
Functional Specifications & Customizations :
- Prepare functional specifications for customizations, enhancements, and financial reports based on business requirements.
Testing and Quality Assurance :
- Conduct functional and integration testing after change requests, using tools like UFT/ALM.
- Prepare test scripts and manage test scenarios to ensure system integrity.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Work with SD, MM, and ABAP teams as needed, ensuring alignment and smooth operation of integrated processes.
Incident Management & Support :
- Handle incident management, provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP FICO configurations, and collaborate with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues.
Global Standards and Best Practices :
- Implement global common methodologies, quality processes, and SAP best practices to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
Workflow Design & Maintenance :
- Design, configure, and maintain SAP workflows, ensuring their smooth integration with finance systems.
Audit and Compliance :
- Ensure that financial systems and processes comply with audit standards and SAP best practices.
Third-party Integration :
- Manage and design interfaces with third-party systems, ensuring seamless integration with financial processes.
Project Management :
- Design, manage, and execute finance project plans, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications :
Experience :
- 8-10 years of relevant experience, including 4-5 years specifically in S/4HANA FI/CO implementations with integration across various modules.
Expertise :
- Strong knowledge of SAP FICO, CO-PA (Profitability Analysis), and financial process optimization.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science or related field
Certifications :
- SAP FICO certification is a plus.
Skills :
- Proficient in business process analysis, financial reporting, and SAP FICO configuration.
- Experience in month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Strong understanding of FI-MM and FI-SD integration processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage 3rd party vendors and cross-functional teams effectively.
Preferred :
- Experience with UFT/ALM automated software for testing.
- Familiarity with SAP Workflow design and marketplace integration with financials.
- Exposure to designing financial system interfaces and ensuring compliance with IT audits.
