Senior Power Bi Developer Lead Developer

Job Summary:

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions using Power BI. This role involves gathering requirements, developing interactive dashboards, creating reports, and ensuring the effective use of data across departments. The Power BI Developer will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure optimal data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Create compelling visualizations to present insights clearly and effectively.
• Design and implement DAX queries and measures for complex calculations.
• Build and optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
• Develop reusable Power BI templates and report components.
• Data Integration & Transformation:
• Extract data from various sources such as SQL , Snowflake.
• Integrate data from different sources and ensure data is clean, accurate, and structured.
• Utilize Power Query for data transformation and building complex ETL processes.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot issues related to Power BI reports.
• Conduct end-user training on Power BI report usage and data interpretation.
• Maintenance & Optimization:
• Monitor report performance and optimize the Power BI solutions to meet business needs.
• Implement security and data access controls for Power BI reports.
• Stay updated on new Power BI features and integrate them to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including report details and data sources.
