Job Purpose : To oversee and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the coworking space, creating a pleasant and productive environment for all members.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervisory Duties :
o Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of housekeeping staff.
o Task Allocation: Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
o Training and Development: Train and develop team members on cleaning procedures and equipment usage.
o Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Operational Duties :
o Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
o Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve housekeeping issues promptly.
o Budgeting: Assist in developing and managing the housekeeping budget.
Ensuring Daily Cleaning Tasks of HK Team :
o Clean and sanitize common areas, including reception, lounges, meeting rooms, pantry, Team Rooms, Caf area, dish wash area, terrace, washroom areas.
o Dust and wipe surfaces, including desks, tables, and chairs.
o Vacuum and mop floors regularly.
o Empty trash cans and recycling bins.
Ensuring Deep Cleaning Tasks of HK Team :
o Conduct deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and furniture polishing, on a regular schedule.
o Clean and sanitize high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, light switches, and elevator buttons.
Inventory Management :
o Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
o Order and replenish supplies as needed.
Equipment Maintenance :
o Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.
o Report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
o Proven experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping industry at Hotels/Facility Management/Coworking etc.
o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
o Excellent organizational and time management skills.
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
o Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
o Ability to train and motivate staff.
o Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
