Role: Zonal Sales Manager - Rental


Job Description

  • Tap into sales potential through Rentals in the specified region for product groups assigned from time to time
  • Develop new customer acquisition/ sales strategy
  • Approach and acquire new Rental & Sound Engineers networking for getting products in Tech Riders
  • Act as focal point of contact to Rentals
  • Mapping the customers and sound engineers
  • Proactively sell products and solutions to Rentals
  • Conduct detailed meeting preparations, including usage of tools (e.g. need and solution assessment)
  • Present product USPs and benefits to Rental
  • Plans sales in line with (company) strategy
  • Identify & Conduct negotiations with Rentals
  • Conduct all negotiation activities with Rentals (e.g. yearly negotiations and temporary discounts)
  • Assist the Reporting Manager in strategy formulation and planning, based on the market potential, sales progress and region-specific market dynamics.
  • Cultivate and develop rentals for long term association
  • Plan Trainings & Demo at customer & sound Engineer location
  • Analyze needs and outline business potential for Rentals plan training & promo activities
  • Develop strong relationships between Rentals & Sound Engineers
  • Analyze market/competitors in the Pro Audio Business Unit and suggest counter strategies
  • Collate and review the demand forecast for the month in the assigned region; and share the same with Business Head
  • Help Rental Customers with first level basic technical advice
  • Bring in Technical Application Engineer or other support functions as needed
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs and draw meaningful conclusions

Skills and other desirables

  • Demonstrated and proven abilities in identifying, strategically approaching and acquiring new Resellers as well as the ability to assess risks of new Resellers.
  • Ability to reach predefined goals during negotiations and win pricing discussions, to prepare important customer meetings, including usage of tools, handling and prevention of objections, with knowledge of closing tactics and techniques, to present and demonstrate technical products in a simple and condensed format & for extensive networking with Resellers and their key influencers
  • Excellent skills in identifying and pursing growth opportunities
  • Understanding of product specifications, advantages and applications, to key market drivers and trends, of competitive environment and relative performance, of market dynamics and interrelations
  • Abilities to strategically cultivate and develop existing Reseller relationships in the long term
  • Tech savvy with analytical skills. Capability to answer medium level technical questions
  • Strong negotiations skills, presentation skills
  • Willingness to document activities in IT-System (CRM)
