Job Overview:

Alpha Group of Institutions invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Engineering department. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic and research endeavors of the department, fostering a dynamic learning environment for students while engaging in cutting-edge research activities.

Responsibilities:

Teaching:

• Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, labs, and tutorials in Computer Science Engineering courses at the undergraduate and post graduate levels.
• Implement innovative teaching methods and leverage technology to enhance the learning experience.

Curriculum Development:

• Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Computer Science Engineering curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards.
• Design new courses or update existing ones to reflect advancements in the field.

Research:

• Conduct and publish impactful research in reputable journals and conferences within the field of Computer Science Engineering.
• Collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects, seeking external funding when applicable.

Student Mentorship:

• Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students on academic and career-related matters.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.

Professional Development:

• Stay current with advancements in Computer Science Engineering through continuous learning, attending conferences, and engaging in professional development activities.
• Contribute to the scholarly community through participation in academic conferences and other professional forums.

Community Engagement:

• Actively participate in departmental and university committees.
• Establish connections with industry partners and engage in collaborative projects.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Design and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and contribute to programmatic accreditation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Post Ph.D. - 10 years Work experience in Computer Science Engineering Dept.
• MTech / Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of Computer Science Engineering.
• Strong record of or potential for scholarly research and publications.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or post graduate level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
