Major Responsibilities: -
• To prepare and manage Purchase orders
• To oversee shipping schedules
• Maintain Purchase Records
• To oversee Vendor activities
• To Manage inventory effectively
• Coordinate with the Design and Site team for schedule wise release of materials.
• Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
• Procuring material w.r.to the requirement raised by the design/Site team
• For New Vendor Development, identify ideal suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability, background checks and reference feedback.
• Seek Vendors quotation to compare pricing and services.
• Evaluates vendor’s quotation based on quality timeliness, and price.
• Creation and approval Reviews and processes purchase orders. Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts.
• Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers. Cost saving techniques to be identified by comparative analysis. Need to adhere the budgeted target of the material.
• Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
• Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfilment of orders.
• Keeps up with trends in procurement.
• Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.
• Implement improvements to existing purchasing processes and delivery systems
• Advise on material costing on the new project proposals for the company.
• Creation of Timely purchase order.
• Strict adherence to the project schedule by timely advance placement of orders to the vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors, site / factory team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• To verify and forward the invoice to the accounts team after confirmation from factory on quantity/quality check.
