Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Compensation Analyst (Payroll Admin) to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing compensation administration, analyzing large volumes of compensation data, and benchmarking operations. This role requires strong expertise in Excel, including advanced features such as graph creation, data analysis, automation, and the efficient handling of large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compensation Administration: Manage and execute various compensation processes, ensuring accurate data handling and timely reporting.
• Data Analysis & Benchmarking: Perform in-depth analysis of compensation data, conduct benchmarking activities to ensure competitiveness, and validate compensation structures across business units.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Leverage Excel to create complex tables, graphs, and reports, perform calculations, automate repetitive tasks, and process large volumes of compensation-related data efficiently.
• Data Validation: Ensure data integrity and accuracy through thorough validation processes, identifying and resolving discrepancies in compensation-related records.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to provide compensation insights and support business decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 6- 9 years of experience in compensation administration or data analysis roles, preferably in a large or global organization.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise in Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, and creating automated spreadsheets to streamline compensation data processing.
• Compensation Data Management: Strong background in handling and analyzing large datasets related to employee compensation, including salary surveys, market analysis, and internal benchmarking.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to work with large volumes of data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights to improve compensation practices.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy, process efficiency, and identifying inconsistencies or errors in compensation records.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of compensation tools and systems.
• Experience working in a global or multi-location environment.
• Familiarity with compensation-related regulations and market trends.
