PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

AEEE is looking for a self-motivated, positive and passionate individual with a problem-solving and growth mindset for the Project Associate position

A dynamic and enthusiastic associate who will provide support to AEEE in its policy and research programs in areas including but not limited to, State Level policy research and Data Analysis, Review and Visualization in the fields of Energy Efficiency in 7 Demand Sectors, Behind The Meter Initiatives and Energy Efficient Integrated Cold Chain activities

Conduct primary secondary research on the State/ UT Level

Policies/ Regulations/ Notifications/ Action Plans in relation to 7 demand sectors for promotion of Energy Efficiency, Low Carbon/ Sustainability Measures (including Renewable Energy, Behind the Meter Initiatives, and Energy Efficient Integrated Cold Chain activities) for all 36 No of States UTs in India

Conduct primary secondary research on incentives under the State/ UT Level Policies in relation to 7 demand sectors for promotion of Energy Efficiency, Low Carbon/ Sustainability Measures (including Renewable Energy, Behind the Meter

Conduct primary secondary research on special incentive schemes of the State/ UT governments, for promotion of Energy Efficiency in 7 Demand Sectors, Low Carbon/ Sustainability Measures (including Renewable Energy, Behind the Meter Initiatives, and Energy Efficient Integrated Cold Chain activities) for all 36 No of States UTs in India

Prepare excel database on both the points 1, 2 3

And carry out data visualization for the same using Tableau/ Excel/ Power Bi, etc

Prepare a report summary of the collected and analyzed data, highlighting the Policies and Schemes by the States/ UTs

Ability to effectively work in a team while being able to independently drive research with minimum assistance

Efficacy of written and oral communication

Ability to adapt and deliver under tight deadlines in a

professional environment

Striving for rigour in research and quality in work output

Ability to carry out activities with a collaborative spirit with

A graduate degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Energy Engineering or a similar discipline from reputed institutions in India or Overseas, Relevant experience with related Central / State Govt Agencies/ Departments will be a distinctive advantage

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 1-3 years of relevant experience in related Central / State Govt

Agencies/ Departments or national/ international companies with a demonstrated track record of policy research/ policy implementation related to Energy Efficiency/ Decarbonization at National and State level

Knowledge of policies, regulations, and programs related to Energy efficiency/decarbonization at the national and state levels and staying updated on them

Understanding of data analytics, technology trends, research and innovation
