Officer/ Executive (Environment, Health & Safety)

Role & responsibilities -

• Conduct safety induction training for all new employees and contractors.
• Monitor every project activity and guide team for safe execution of the work.
• Ensure safety in construction activity.
• Ensure safe execution of the lifting shifting and erection activities using work permit and JSA.
• Identify unsafe acts and condition, follow up and ensure their completion.
• Prepare weekly site compliance report and present before the management.
• Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 shall play a key role in external audits and ensure compliance.
• First aid Box monitoring and management
• PPE Management Ensure availability and use by all applicable employees on 100% basis.
• Ensure upkeep and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment(s).
• Ensure every incident is investigated, complete CAPA within stipulated time frame and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and maintain legal compliance related to Factories Act, Factory Rules, Environment Protection acts, PESO, Petroleum and Explosives act, Fire NOC requirements.
• Conduct awareness on water saving and foster freshwater reduction year on year.
• Monitoring the hazardous waste generation, treatment & disposal of the same and ensure monthly, quarterly, six monthly and yearly returns are prepared and filled.
• Submitting the monthly ETP-Expenditure to the superiors.

Preferred candidate profile -

Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI/CLI / from State board of technical education
