Roles & Responsibilities:
Build a strong user-centric design foundation working with product management and product research to drive user experience decisions
Utilize strong design thinking skills as you work with product management and the design team to translate product objectives to optimize user experiences, set design vision, and contribute to cross-functional planning
Manage and mentor the design team to deliver the most natural and intuitive product experiences and champion + implement best practices for the group
Work with a cross functional team to create experiences that take into account user and business goals, medical information, regulatory, hardware, and data.
Proactively grow and shape AliveCor s creative and collaborative UX design culture
Requirements:
7+ years of experience as a designer for mobile software products
4+ years of experience managing a global design team to deliver high-quality work while collaborating cross-functionally
A degree in Human-Computer Interaction or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Deep and current knowledge of design principles and best practices for native mobile apps (iOS & Android) and web clients
Strong mentoring ability
Proficiency with design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Qualtrics, RStudio
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Very organized.
Strong quantitative analysis skills
Desired: experience working with connected devices and in health tech
