Job Brief:

We are looking for an artful Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in interior design to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design. The goal is to design practical spaces and visually pleasing.

Responsibilities:

- Manage design projects from concept to completion

- Establish project requirements and schedule during the initial phase

- Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans

- Set costs and project fees based on the budget

- Research and select materials and products

- Create sample and mood products

- Oversee work progress

- Collaborate closely with designers, decorators, architects, and contractors

- Research and stay updated on industry changes, developments

Requirements and skills:

Proven work experience in decorating interior spaces including consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions. Must be able to conduct client meetings and work on projects from design to execution. Expertise in layout, color, lighting, material selection, custom furniture, and installations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or other design programs. An excellent portfolio of previous work. Creative talent, imagination, and a good eye for design. Strong communication and presentation skills. Project management skills are also required.
