Senior Service Now Developer

Alcor Solutions are seeking a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our Product Development Team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to enhance our product offerings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ServiceNow development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Manage and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools.
• Develop and maintain ITSM and ITOM processes within the ServiceNow platform, including incident, problem, change, and asset management.
• Utilize additional skills, such as scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), to customize and enhance ServiceNow functionalities.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, conducting regular maintenance and upgrades.
• Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and industry trends to leverage new features and functionalities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on ITSM.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM) preferred.
• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.) and development tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in reporting and dashboards within ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
