Associate, PPM Systems & Business

Summary of Position

As a Business Systems Analyst in Digital Solutions, the successful candidate will support the Alcon digital transformation through implementation of assigned applications such as Planisware or ProCal for R&D and providing business support for master data development and system usage. We are looking for a candidate that has experience in the following platforms: Planisware, Tableau/Power BI data lake solutions and/or ProCal.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks supporting department operations and assigned software applications.

• Create and manage master data within assigned applications to support business needs (users, resources, organization structures, labor rates, parameter lists, etc.)

• Triage user support requests (ServiceNow), providing Level 1 business support and troubleshooting for existing implementations, while elevating and tracking more complex issue as needed. Track KPIs to meet established service standards.

Additional

• Assist in managing application documentation for configuration, system processes and standard business processes.

• Participate in demand management processes to document requirements for system enhancements and modifications.

• Engage with application teams for simple system configurations, configuration testing, and user acceptance testing.

• Monitor standard application processes, batch jobs, etc and track application KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in technical or science field.

• Proven 3 to 5 years of experience in: Planisware (required), ProCal and/or enterprise application support.

• Experience with enterprise applications, MS Office (especially Excel) and BI/reporting tools (Tableau and/or Power BI preferred).

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to successfully work with personnel from multiple countries and time zones.

• Experience with JavaScript is a plus.
