Senior Associate, PPM Systems & Business

Summary of Position

As a Business Systems Analyst in Digital Solutions, the successful candidate will support the Alcon digital transformation through implementation of assigned applications such as Planisware or ProCal for R&D and providing business support for master data development, system usage and data reporting/dashboard development. We are looking for a candidate that has experience in the following platforms: Planisware, Tableau/Power BI data lake solutions and/or ProCal.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development and support of data consolidation into Alcon s data lake.

• Develop, deploy and provide user support for BI (Tableau and/or Power BI) data analyses, reports and dashboards.

• Manage application documentation for configuration, system processes and standard business processes.

• Engage with application teams for system upgrades, configuration, configuration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Additional

• Collaborate in demand management and process improvement processes to gather business needs and requirements for system enhancements and modifications.

• Manage standard application processes, batch jobs, etc and report application KPIs.

• Support master data maintenance within assigned applications to support business needs (users, resources, organization structures, labor rates, parameter lists, etc.)

• Assist in triaging and tracking user support requests (ServiceNow), providing business support and troubleshooting for existing implementations and report KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in technical or science field.

• Proven 5 to 7 years of experience in: Planisware (required), ProCal and/or enterprise application development and support

• Expert level proficiency in BI tools (Tableau and/or Power BI), ability to create dashboards and reports and interpret data effectively (required).

• Export level proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel (required).

• Experience in enterprise level application upgrades, change control and documentation (required).

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to successfully work with personnel from multiple countries and time zones.

• Experience with JavaScript or continuous improvement processes are a plus.
