Role & responsibilities
- Benefits accounting activities - Manages the processing and reconciling weekly benefits invoices & the monthly benefits recharge report
- Administer 401k activities: defferal updates, reconciliation, funding, and follow-up on necessary records for hardship withdrawals
- Facilitates GL connection to SAP
- Records maintenance for payroll and benefits back office
- Weekly review of benefit enrollment eligibility (including HSA Optum enrollment confirmation) and communication to ensure enrollment deadlines are met. Approves life event changes. Quarterly review and update of dependent eligibility
- Assists with salary payroll processing, including support with timecard updates and approvals as well as entering annual holidays and schedules W-2 reconciliation and 1095-Cs for year end
- Facilitates funding of medical claims and coordination with finance to ensure proper allocation
Preferred candidate profile
Energetic, motivated, critical thinker required.
Min 2 years college or equivalent work experience
Analytical, mutlitasking capabilities, aptitude for accounting, and strong Excel skills
Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail as well as Troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills
Limited supervision required, working well indpendently to prioritize work load
Strong customer service and people skills, with a basic understanding of benefit program
