Mechanical Fitter

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Conduct repairs and replacements of worn-out or damaged parts to prevent breakdowns and downtime.
  
• Troubleshoot issues with pumps, valves, centrifugal pumps, rotating equipment, and other industrial machinery using diagnostic techniques.
  
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, inventory management, and quality control checks.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• ITI Certification in Fitter or Machinist required; additional certifications preferred (e.g., NDT Level II).
  
• 2-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an oil & gas industry setting.
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day.
  
• Proficiency in working with various types of materials used in oil & gas applications (steel, rubber, plastic).
  
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and maintenance principles; knowledge of relevant safety protocols.
