L3 Storage Administrator - Configuration Management (5-10 yrs)

Responsibilities:

• Periodic maintenance of all types of Storage Capacity for Dell Infrastructure.
• Assisting in the development of storage management policy, configuration and management of disk array, storage virtualization, Storage allocation, Zoning, SAN fabric/switches,
• Auto-provisioning in PMAX.
• Daily status report on process execution on health.
• Shall be responsible for creation, implementation, and configuration of storage LUNs on a need basis.
• Shall be responsible for end-to-end monitoring of storage solution.
• LUN creation, configuration, and Zoning of LUNs.
• Handle Incident calls from start to close.
• Writing RCA for issues.
• Planning and Upgradation of storage.
• Planning and upgradation of SCG.
• Planning and upgrade of Unisphere.
• Planning and upgrade of SAN FOS.
• Handle customer meetings.
• Availability for L1 and L2 to support 24X7
• Engage and escalate the issues with OEM and Vendors.

• Good knowledge of: Dell EMC VMAX3 PMAX, VNX, ISILON, and Netapp and Brocade SAN Switches.
• In-depth Knowledge of NetApp CLI and GUI.
• In-depth knowledge of PMAX CLI and GUI.
• SANnav installation and upgrades.
• Good to have scripting and automation knowledge.
• Good knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• Handle and support in DR-drill activities and related issues.
• Competency in analyzing and resolving performance issues related to SAN storage.
• Good to have DC migration experiences.
• Good to have storage migration experiences.
• Good to have Switch migration experiences.
• End-to-end storage monitoring and support with the collaboration of the OEM backend team.
