Storage Consultant - NetApp (7-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Storage Consultant with expertise in NetApp storage solutions to manage, implement, and troubleshoot complex storage environments.

The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of ONTAP, SnapMirror, SnapVault, and other NetApp technologies, along with proficiency in NAS, SAN, and cloud-integrated storage environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage NetApp storage solutions for enterprise environments.

- Configure and optimize storage systems using ONTAP, SnapMirror, SnapVault, FlexClone, FlexCache, and other NetApp technologies.

- Ensure high availability, data protection, and disaster recovery using NetApp tools and techniques.

- Manage and troubleshoot NAS, SAN, and cloud-integrated storage environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions with network and server infrastructures.

- Configure and manage multiprotocol storage (CIFS, NFS) for dual mounting in Windows and Linux systems.

- Implement and maintain unified identity management across storage systems.

- Manage and enforce Access Control Lists (ACLs) using both NTFS and NFS4 styles.

- Monitor storage performance and capacity, providing recommendations for optimization and scaling.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in NetApp and storage technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skillset :

- Extensive experience in NetApp storage solutions and technologies.

- Strong knowledge of ONTAP, SnapMirror, SnapVault, FlexClone, and FlexCache.

- Proficiency in managing NAS, SAN, and cloud-integrated storage environments.

- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and subnetting.

- Hands-on experience with multiprotocol disks and unified identity management across Windows and Linux systems.

- Expertise in ACL management using NTFS and NFS4
