Job Summary:

The Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the instructional process in the classroom, ensuring students' academic, social, and emotional development. The Teacher will foster a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement, critical thinking, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Planning & Delivery:
   
• Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Set clear objectives and learning outcomes for each lesson.
• Create and maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love of learning.
2. Assessment & Evaluation:
   
• Design and administer formative and summative assessments to gauge student progress and understanding.
• Analyze assessment data to inform instruction and provide targeted support.
• Provide regular, constructive feedback to students on their performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and achievements.
3. Classroom Management:
   
• Establish clear rules and procedures for behavior management.
• Address classroom disruptions promptly and fairly, fostering a respectful and disciplined atmosphere.
• Promote positive relationships and encourage student collaboration and teamwork.
4. Communication:
   
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress, behavioral concerns, and student achievements.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
5. Professional Development:
   
• Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth through workshops, conferences, and self-directed learning.
• Stay informed about new teaching methods, educational technologies, and curriculum updates.
• Engage in self-reflection and feedback processes to improve teaching practices.
6. Administrative Duties:
   
• Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum and educational programs.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and school events.
• Contribute to school initiatives such as extracurricular activities, student clubs, and special events.
7. Student Support:
   
• Identify students who need additional academic or behavioural support and collaborate with specialists to provide interventions.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Education (or a related field).
• Any degree with relevant experience
• Experience:
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of subject matter and teaching methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
