Key Responsibilities

• Network Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Administration: Administer and manage Firewall, Router, Switches, VPN connections and security policies.
• Implement and oversee MPLS configurations and BGP routing protocols. Perform IP address management, including
• DHCP and DNS configuration.
• Security Management: Ensure network security by configuring and managing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security appliances. Monitor network traffic and implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to performance, connectivity, and configuration. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents. Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and security status.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers in Network Operation Center (NOC) and other team members.

Experience and Technical skill sets

• Worked in network engineering and NOC preferably in ISP / Telco / Managed services company / GCC
• Proven experience with network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Experience of administration of Palo alto Firewalls, Routers, and Switches.
• Excellent knowledge of Command Line Interface (CLI) commands.
• Hands-on experience with MPLS, BGP,OSPF and VPN configurations.
