Branch Manager

Akbar Travels, a leading travel agency, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Visakhapatnam office. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, driving sales and revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and lead a team of travel agents and support staff to achieve sales targets and performance goals.

2. Develop and implement strategies to increase customer base and revenue generation.

3. Monitor and analyze branch performance, prepare reports, and present to the management.

4. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

5. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

6. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote travel packages and services.

7. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee development.

8. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Business, Travel & Tourism, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar managerial role in the travel industry.

3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.

4. Strong sales and negotiation abilities.

5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

6. Knowledge of travel software and reservation systems.

7. Understanding of travel regulations and industry best practices.
