Role &

1. Machine Operation:

• Operate VMC machines to perform machining tasks such as milling, drilling, tapping, and cutting.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.

2. Setup and Tooling:

• Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Select and install appropriate tooling for each job.

3. Blueprint Interpretation:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to understand machining specifications.
• Ensure dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications are met.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

5. Maintenance:

• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.

6. Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and guidelines.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

7. Documentation:

• Maintain production logs and records of machine settings and output.
