Content Specialist

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to create storyboards and learning materials in collaboration with content creators and enhancement partners/suppliers for blended learning courses. The role ensures timely delivery of high-quality content adhering to established guidelines and pedagogy. Additionally, the role requires reviewing and revising content in coordination with subject matter experts (SMEs) and volunteers as needed.

This position reports to the Sales Manager and operates without direct reports. It functions as an individual contributor role under direct supervision, adhering to predetermined guidelines and procedures.

Experience: 3 to 7 years

Location: Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore

Salary: 5LPA till 7LPA only.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Course Production:

1. Design and Storyboarding:

• Develop course design structures, storyboards, and e-learning materials aligned with learning objectives.
• Create realistic scenarios and supporting documents for each course.
• Utilize effective visuals, such as flashcards, to enhance learner engagement and meet learning objectives, including for rural audiences.
• Ensure courses add significant value to learners, preparing them for industry requirements.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) on the platform, ensuring content and pedagogy adhere to established standards.

1. Content Development:

• Develop lecture video and audio content provided by content partners.
• Create lab manuals and supporting lab videos.
• Prepare audio scripts for chapters, coordinate with voice-over artists for recordings, and ensure proper synchronization.
• Ensure SCORM package compliance, test and validate lab kits for specific courses.
• Post-development, coordinate technical reviews by SMEs and launch the course.

1. Content Review and Enhancement:

• Review and edit technical content provided by content partners for accuracy.
• Address feedback from the technical review panel to maintain content quality.
• Incorporate blended learning models that combine e-learning and physical labs for hands-on experience.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.

Work Experience:

• 4–7 years of experience, preferably in the IT industry or EdTech.

Skills and Requirements:

• Positive attitude with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Passionate about content creation and enhancement activities.
• Technologically adept, with a knack for identifying solutions to business challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive).
