Job Description
- Driving the testing activities of observability solutions for Akamai Cloud (formerly Linode) services
- Testing, profiling, and monitoring code performance
- Participating in the design, development, improvement, operation, and automation of observability solutions for Akamai Cloud (formerly Linode) services
- Following modern DevOps practices, building new services, or enhancing the existing ones
- Partnering with product owners, development, and test groups to create rapid cycles of feedback and improvement
- Diagnosing system performance and reliability together with the team of Site Reliability Engineers
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical and business challenges
- Have knowledge of quality assurance practices required for rapid cycles of SDLC
- Have working experience of testing frameworks and tools like Postman in API/UI test automation
- Have experience in programming and automating processes using modern programming languages
- Have experience with developing software in GNU/Linux or Unix environment
- Demonstrate experience with working with Internet protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL
- Have a Bachelors diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, another related field
