As a Senior Software Engineer , you will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team through hiring, training, coaching and mentoring.
- Working on the virtualization stack (QEMU, QAPI, QMP) and VM optimization.
- Researching, proposing, and integrating relevant open-source projects based on product objectives
- Providing technical expertise and leadership for your team.
- Developing and Engineering on the software running on the hosts in our data centers
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience having written highly available and optimized software running on large distributed production environments.
- Demonstrate your experience on developing software that solves problems on QEMU, Scheduling, Live migrations, memory organization, API, debugging, async IO
- Be proficient in writing organized, efficient, and well documented code in in any(but not limited) of the following language( Perl, Python, Go.)
- Have experience designing abstract software architectures from ideas through implementation and creatively apply domain experience to solve technical challenges
- Have Excellent communication and documentation skills
