Position – Principal Architect

Location – UIDAI Tech Centre-Bangalore

Salary – 24-36 LPA

Minimum Competency Requirement:

Desired qualification:

i. BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MCA qualification or equivalent;

ii. Post graduation in technology is preferred;

iii. Should have strong oral and written communication skills and should be well-versed with program management tools;

General Requirements for All candidates -

i. Must have at least 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture specifically in server, storage and network architecture, virtualization, software defined data centres and cloud implementation. Overall IT experience should be 20+ years;

ii. Must possess experience as Principal Architect for a completed large-scale IT infrastructure project (system user base of more than 10,000 or project value more than INR 100 crores);

iii. Must possess experience as an Architect for a completed large-scale IT infrastructure using open stack or Azure or AWS or any on premise Cloud stack;

iv. Proficient in DC Automation, automation tools and scripting;

Must have done design and Implementation of Opensource on-premise cloud

Job Profile -

Will be responsible for overall solution architecture across all tracks of UIDAI;

i. Will be responsible for gathering business requirements, developing the detailed to-be CIDR architecture and keeping it up to date based on changes done over time, designing solutions for data migration to to-be infrastructure and implementation of the to-be state CIDR architecture

ii. Will be responsible for coordinating the UIDAI’s solution designs and architectures with all other vendors and agencies appointed by UIDAI;

iii. Will be responsible for managing the transition from as-is technology architecture to to-be technology architecture of CIDR

iv. Will coordinate with UIDAI’s information security team to identify and enable any critical changes required to CIDR architecture based on any new threats or vulnerabilities identified during the course of the contract

vi. Will be responsible for overall coordination of UIDAI’s

disaster recovery and business continuity efforts in the event of any disaster
