Research Associate INK Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct routine lab activities to identify and develop desired materials.
• Ability to read, identify through literature and design parameters for synthesis.
• Well-informed with newer developments, industry trends and innovative technologies in respective areas of work.
• Engage in product scale-up in lab; ready to travel to manufacturing sites to enable technology transfer.
• Perform analysis of products, interpret results & document the information in reports/presentation.
• Maintain the inventory and remain 100% EHS compliant.

Preferred candidate profile

Education : B.Tech / B.E in Paint Technology or Printing ink technology /

M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry

Experience : Understanding of Chemistry, Pigments, Emulsions and Formulations

• 1-7years of synthetic industrial experience writing inks.
• In depth knowledge about pigment/dyestuff chemistry
• Hands on experience on emulsion process/ suspension process synthesis
• Expertise on additives for ink formulation
• Experience of handling of equipments, (rheometer, tensiometer, ICP, GC-MS, etc.) used for characterization of ink formulations.
• Able to handle the labs requirements viz., inventory, records, data compilation and reporting systems.
• Strong experience with data analysis software tools such as excel, or any other statistical software.
• Passionate, problem-solver and motivated individual with minimal supervision.
