Role & responsibilities

1. Tender Document Analysis:

• Review and analyse tender documents, including terms, conditions, scope of work.
• Summarize and document amendments to tenders, organized by clause and presented in chronological order, for comprehensive analysis.
• Participate in tender costing
• Assess the technical and financial aspects of tenders to identify potential challenges.
• Highlight any issues or potential risks in the tender documents which are detrimental to the interests of the Company

2. Tender Searching- Searching tender from the various sources

3. Provide Recommendations:

• Work closely with various inter and intra-departmental stakeholders to gather suggestions to improve or modify tender terms, conditions or scope to make them more favourable for the company, all the while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

4. Communication:

• Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on tender strategies and changes.

5. Compliance:

• Ensure that all suggested changes align with established industry practices and regulations and Statutory regulations.

6. Documentation Support:

• Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents by ensuring clarity and completeness.

Preferred candidate profile

• Previous experience in tendering, procurement or contract management, with a focus on analyzing tender documents and strong knowledge of tendering procedures, terms and conditions. Experience in tender costing will be considered an added advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement or related field would be preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good knowledge of MS-Word and Excel.
