Job Description
- Ownsthe design, development, and testing of Android software featuresthat support remote management of insulin therapy.
- Supportsthe refinement and implementation of features that can be worked onby a small team of engineers.
- Independentlyidentifies opportunities in software or processes, gains engineeringalignment, and implements proposals.
- Stayspresent with Android standards and new technologies.
- Responsiblefor software design specifications, interface descriptions, andother software documentation; may act as documentation owner forhigh-level features.
- Guidessoftware validation by communicating software changes effectivelyand reviewing test regression selection.
- Writestestable, extensible code and consistently contributes unit testsfor all fixes and new code introduced.
- Contributesto the training, mentoring and development of junior team members.
- Independentlydiagnoses, replicates, and addresses bugs.
- Ensurescompliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and otherlegal and regulatory requirements.
- Performother responsibilities as assigned.
