We are looking for motivated professionals with strong skills for Driving End-to-end execution of Resiliency & Revenue protection drive. Applicant will be responsible for Mitigation of Legacy Components aged more than 7 years through specifications, design, implementation, testing etc. Professional must have strong Electronics knowledge and skills to execute complex Resiliency projects. Success in this position requires the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, strong motivation for pursuing project objectives and the ability to learn new techniques and development processes. 1. The applicant will be responsible for identification of electronics components aged more than 7 years for in-house and perform component risk analysis. 2. Build strategy for targeting old high-risk components. 3. Executing strategy for mitigating risks on old high-risk components for in-house in alignment with GCMs, PLMs and product engineering teams. 4. Align with global electronics components category strategy for legacy component & assembly management to build resiliency and support re-design of legacy products with innovative technology across Eaton businesses. 5. Support in mapping and identification of legacy components for which no strategic manufacturers are available. 6. Support in strategy execution and development of EOL component storage and management process. 7. Identify opportunities for re-design of legacy designs using latest electronics component technology through Data Analysis, benchmarking, teardown, competitor analysis and study of applicable standards. 8. Identify VAVE/re-design opportunities and co-ordinate with other DMP/Product teams to ensure actions to mitigate risk. 9. Take ownership of functional validation, environmental validation, EMC validation and certification support to test labs for VAVE projects driven by DMP.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Electronics/E&TC Total relevant work experience: 5 to 7 years.

2. Significant hands-on experience with various electronics components and design methodologies. 3. Understanding of electronic component specifications, lifecycles, and industry standards. 4. Awareness of applicable standards and environmental compliances - IEC / UL / ISO / RoHS / REACH etc. 5. Sound knowledge on spend data analysis. 6. Strong knowledge in finding out gaps for electronic cost out on products. 9. Knowledge on Design, testing and validation of various Hardware products" 10.
