At Eaton India Innovation Center, Electrical Sector Americas is looking for ""Engineering Leader - Product development"" to join our ESA-ARS-CPA devision! This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune.

The ""Engineering Leader - Product development"" will be a key member of the team driving the growth to the CPA business. The core responsibility of this position will be leading NPI, NTI, VAVE, Cost out & Sustainability activities of the CPA business."

" The position will be a key member of the team driving the growth to the CPA business. The core responsibility of this position will be leading the 25+ professional s working in NPI, NTI, VAVE, Cost out & Sustainability activities.
Be a customer centric focus, Lead the NPI/NTI projects, drive for cost effective solution, Patent generation, Cost out work outs, Drive for VAVE, Manage the sustainable projects, etc.
Coach, develop and grow the next line of leader including front line managers, lead engineers, Sr. Engineers.
Work with global Product line engineering Manager to develop the strategies, execute projects to meet the time line and cost of NPI s.
A strong collaborative mind set, co-ordinate between Business leadership and Engineering leadership, achieve results in uncertain environment, Enhance the Product development ECO system in EIIC to Launch the product on time in the market.
Define the long- and short-term product road map strategy considering competitor landscapes.
Build culture of innovations, Increase the competitiveness through IP & other digital innovative solutions to the products.
A strong operational excellence focus through program management, Cost management, engineering productivity, tracking Gate OTD, Engineering billing, etc.
Driving for Six sigma, DFSS, CI culture with in the team to achieve the Best in class operational performance.
Good understanding of Hardware, Firmware and QA functions of Digital product developments. "

Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical/Electrical/Other relavant
"15+ years of hands-on experience in Managing multi decipline team such as Electical, Mechanical team. Minimum 4+ years in leadership, people management role.

" Experience in Managing NPI, VAVE, Application engineering team with a proven track record of delivering high quality solutions to customers.
Driving the Innovation culture, Process improvement, Costout focus, Smart solution to the electrical products, etc.
Develop a electromechanical team from scratch, identify the skills set requirement, develop a long term strategic plan for Panels and switch boards product portfolio.
DFSS 6 Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt
AutoCAD / Pro-E / Inventor / other Mechanical design tools
Very good understanding of Eaton Panels & Switch board product portfolio, knowledge of competitor products, various smart solutions relevant to Panels and Switch boards.
Excellent skills in delegation, decision making, sets clear objectives to the team, measures & strives for continuous improvement.
