Hvac Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

Technical Supervision:

- Supervise HVAC technicians, providing guidance and support

- The role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing HVAC equipment, hi side and low side, to ensure optimal performance

- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.

- Clean and replace air filters, belts, and other components as necessary.

- • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting components.

• Schedule and conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend system life.

Repair

• Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions and failures.
• Demand, Replace or repair defective parts, such as compressors, motors, or thermostats.

Troubleshooting

• Identify issues with HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Recommend solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.

Customer Service

• Communicate with customers regarding service needs, costs, and system operation.
• Provide education on proper system use and maintenance.

- Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards

- Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues, providing effective solutions

Maintenance and Repair:

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

- Coordinate repairs and replacements of HVAC equipment

- Ensure timely and effective response to HVAC-related issues

Quality Control:

- Conduct quality control inspections, ensuring work meets industry standards

- Identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions

- Develop and maintain quality control procedures

Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies

- Conduct safety training, ensuring technicians are aware of potential hazards

- Investigate accidents, implementing corrective actions

Team Management:

- Supervise, train, and develop HVAC technicians

- Conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback

- Foster a positive and productive team environment

Preferred candidate profile Preferable to have worked in shopping mall environment or large office building environment with Water/air cooled chillers and AHUs, CSUs, etc.
