Position Overview:


We are hiring for Senior Business Analyst role to contribute to Commercial function with AIX. Seeking high energy, ensuring data-driven decision-making that drives profitability, enhances customer satisfaction, and optimizes operational performance. You will work closely with teams across revenue management, ancillary, marketing, sales, network planning and customer experience to generate insights and develop strategies that align with the companys commercial goals. A key aspect of the role will be preparing and presenting analytical findings to senior management to inform strategic decisions.



Role & responsibilities:


  • Commercial Performance Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive analysis of commercial data, including pricing, revenue, demand, customer satisfaction, and marketing performance.

Provide regular reports, dashboards, and insights that support the development and execution of commercial strategies.

Identify key trends and opportunities within commercial operations to enhance business performance.

  • Management Presentation Preparation:

Prepare high-quality, actionable presentations for senior management, summarizing insights and recommendations based on analytical findings.

Communicate complex data in a clear, concise, and visually compelling format to guide executive decision-making.

Present insights to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between commercial strategies and business goals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with teams across the Commercial Function (e.g., Pricing, Revenue Management, Marketing, Customer Experience) to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

Support commercial teams with forecasting, capacity planning, pricing strategies, customer experience improvements, marketing initiatives etc.

  • Strategic Support for Commercial Initiatives:

Assist in the development and execution of strategies to optimize revenue, improve profitability, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve market competitiveness.

Provide insights to guide the launch of new products, services, or routes, ensuring alignment with overall commercial goals.


Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and the automation of reporting and analysis workflows.

Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial analytics, reducing manual efforts and improving decision-making speed.


Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and market conditions to provide competitive intelligence and support commercial strategy.

Conduct market segmentation and demand analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improve customer targeting.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics and visualization tools.

Familiarity with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.


Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to analyze commercial data, identify key trends, and generate actionable business insights.

Ability to think strategically and apply analytical findings to improve commercial performance.


Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex analysis for executive-level audiences.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with various teams within the commercial function.


Attention to Detail & Results-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Results-driven, with a focus on delivering actionable insights that directly contribute to business growth and performance.

Preferred candidate profile:


Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Full Time Course)

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in business analysis, commercial planning, or analytics

Proven experience preparing high-level presentations and communicating insights to senior management.
