Job Description

Position : Pre-sales Business Analyst (BA)


Relevant Experience : 4 to 6 Years


Location : Ahmedabad / Anywhere in India (Remote)


Employment Type : Full-time


Position Overview :


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-sales Business Analyst (BA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the sales, technical, and client teams, playing a pivotal role in crafting tailored solutions and delivering compelling proposals that address client needs. This role requires a mix of business acumen, analytical skills, and technical understanding to support the sales cycle effectively.


- Preference to have domain expertise in MedTech/HealthTech or FinTech.


Key Responsibilities :


Requirement Analysis :


- Collaborate with prospect and internal stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements.


- Translate client needs into functional specifications and solution frameworks.


Solution Design :


- Work closely with technical teams to design and propose solutions aligned with client requirements.


- Ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and address both current and future needs of the client.


Proposal Development :


- Create detailed proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.


- Develop compelling use cases, workflows, and business scenarios to demonstrate solution value.


Collaboration and Communication :


- Act as a liaison between sales, technical, and client teams during the pre-sales phase.


- Present solutions and proposals to clients, addressing technical and business questions.


Market and Product Expertise :


- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's product offerings and industry trends.


- Provide insights and recommendations to improve product positioning and client engagement strategies.


- Must be able to come up with accelerator product ideas to build in-house and use them for pitching to customers to improve sales cycles.


Sales Support :


- Assist in preparing sales collaterals, case studies, and competitive analysis.


- Participate in pre-sales calls, meetings, and demos to support the sales team.


Process Optimization :


- Identify opportunities for streamlining pre-sales processes and improving efficiency.


- Gather client feedback and collaborate with product teams to enhance solutions.


Qualifications and Skills :


Education :


- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.


Experience :


- 4-6 years of experience in pre-sales, business analysis, or a related role in IT services, consulting, or SaaS industries.


- Preference to have domain expertise in MedTech/HealthTech or FinTech.


Technical Skills :


- Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.


- Proficiency in creating wireframes, flowcharts, and requirement documents.


- Experience with tools like MS Office Suite, CRM platforms, and business analysis tools.


Soft Skills :


- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Knowledge :


- Familiarity with industry verticals such as Healthcare, MedTech or FinTech or Manufacturing, or Retail.


- Understanding of emerging technologies like AI, Cloud Computing, and IoT is a bonus
