Job Description

M.Sc (Chemistry) / B.Tech/M.Tech/ B.E (Chemical/Polymer/Paint Technology or equivalent) Job Description

- Knowledge of chemistries, physics and polymers.

- Raw materials testing and screening processes.

- Excellent verbal and writing communications.

- Technical reports writing and presentation.

- Researching new technologies, techniques, and applications.

- Handling multiple projects and customer needs.

- Interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

- Working with internal and external management and customers.

- PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applicable applications.

- Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.

Required Skills

- Performs a wide variety of projects requiring comprehensive understanding of chemistries and technologies;

assists with developing and implementing new methods.

- Understanding project objectives, outline tasks, deliver, present results and other related activities.

- Reviews and develops reports and documents detailing project processes, results, and

conclusions and leads or performs additional research when required.

- Interprets and applies department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and

regulations; ensures compliance with these areas.

- Color matching, new technology screening, and related projects with other divisions, departments, or groups.

- Based on the training provided should be able to operate and calibrates equipment that requires

professional judgment and background.

- Should be able to perform projects with minimum assistance and completes as per the committed timelines.

- Root cause analysis.

- Performs duties as assigned
