Job Description (JD):
The Drone System Engineer is responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of Drone systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, software, firmware, and aerospace principles, as well as hands-on experience with UAV components and flight systems.
Role & responsibilities
Design & Development : Design, develop, and integrate UAV systems, including hardware, software, and firmware components. Develop control algorithms, communication protocols, and system architectures for UAV operations.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to other departments, including RD, production, and quality assurance.
Assembly Testing: Oversee the assembly, setup, and calibration of electronic drone components and related products.
Repair Refurbishment: Perform high-quality repairs and refurbishment of electronic gadgets such as drones, smartwatches, cameras, and tablets.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on the latest drone technologies, industry trends, and regulations to ensure all operations are compliant.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to optimize drone designs and improve functionality.
Training Development: Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the drone industry, with a focus on engineering and project management.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in drone assembly, repairs, and system integration
Drone Pilot Certification (Preferred): Hands-on experience with piloting drones for different applications.
Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team and manage projects effectively
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the latest drone technologies, trends, and regulations.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Educational Background: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
