CRO Specialist

AgriBegri is an advisory and online marketplace for Indian farmers to democratize the agri-input market. Agri-input manufacturers and retailers can sell their products online to farmers, and we deliver them for free to farmers' doorsteps, eliminating the intermediaries in the supply chain. Our agronomy team helps farmers with all things farming so that farmers can get the right advice and products at a reasonable rate.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and analytical CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) Specialist to help improve the performance of our website. This role will involve studying how users interact with the site, finding areas that need improvement, and making changes that will boost sales and user experience.

Role & responsibilities

• Analyse website performance metrics, website data and user behaviour to find areas to improve.
• Design, implement, Create and run tests (like A/B testing, multivariate tests) to see which changes work best.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and marketing teams to create and implement optimization strategies for improvement.
• Research competitors and industry trends to stay updated on best practices.
• Provide recommendations based on data to enhance the website.
• Monitor and report the impact of changes on important metrics like click-through rate (CTR), bounce rate, and conversion rate.
• Improve product pages, checkout process, and landing pages to create a smoother user experience.
• Use tools like heat maps and session recordings to understand how users interact with the website.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in a CRO role or similar digital marketing position
• Strong knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Crazy Egg).
• Experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, and Google Optimize).
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and web design best practices.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on using data to make decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the e-commerce or agriculture sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
• Certification in CRO, Google Analytics, or related fields is an advantage
