Agraga - Credit Analyst/Business Analyst - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS (1-4 yrs)

The Credit Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data and making informed decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills and responsible for monitoring outstanding accounts, evaluating credit risks, and working directly with clients to resolve overdue balances.

Key Responsibilities:

- Risk Evaluation: Use quantitative and qualitative methods to assess the level of risk associated with each credit application. Track existing clients' financial performance and identify potential red flags or risk factors.

- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on credit assessments and present findings to management.

- Policy Adherence: Ensure that credit evaluations and decisions adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

- Credit Assessment and Monitoring: Regularly review the creditworthiness of existing clients, especially those with outstanding balances, by analysing financial data, payment history, and risk indicators.

- Account Reconciliation: Identify discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and work with clients to reconcile outstanding balances.

- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all client communications, payment agreements, and collection efforts, ensuring detailed documentation for future reference.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of outstanding issues.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, or a related field from a reputed Tier-1 college

Experience: 1-3 years in credit or data analysis, preferably within a corporate setting.
