About This Team:
- The community team's key role is to identify, connect & collaborate with cultural creators and communities for Agilitas' brands.
- Agilitas offers a one of kind platform to engage with creators in a meaningful, high touch model that enables deep, authentic & long term collaborations.
- This team's role is to work with partners and identify new-age creators across culture music, food, tech, art & lifestyle.
- This team will be the direct interface between creators and Agilitas' brands and work to develop meaningful collaborations that can impact brand and business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods and Services Tax (GST) (70%).
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.
- Conduct GST reconciliations and address mismatches in input tax credit (ITC).
- Monitor GST compliance across business operations and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Liaise with tax authorities during audits, assessments & notices.
- Stay updated on GST amendments, notifications, and circulars, and ensure organizational adherence.
- Direct Taxes (10%).
- Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns, advance tax calculations, TDS, withholding tax & related return filings.
- Support in tax audits, transfer pricing documentation, and corporate tax compliance.
- Provide guidance on tax implications for various transactions to ensure efficient tax planning.
- Import Duty (10%).
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and timely payment of import duties.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to manage documentation for import/export activities.
- Monitor duty exemptions and concessions applicable to the organization.
- Government Grants (10%).
- Identify and apply for relevant government grants, subsidies, and incentives.
- Manage grant compliance requirements and ensure timely reporting to authorities.
- Maintain records and documentation to support grant claims during audits.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification in taxation, finance, or accounting.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in GST, direct taxes, import duties, and government grants.
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations, with a focus on GST compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
