Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Atlassian Platform Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of Atlassian-based solutions. The role will focus on decommissioning legacy systems, architecting scalable and compliant solutions across the Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira, plugins), and ensuring seamless platform migration and user onboarding for large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Atlassian tools, GxP compliance, migration strategy, and hands-on technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Atlassian Platform Architecture and Development:
• Design, build, and expand Confluence, Jira, and other Atlassian platforms to meet business requirements.
• Architect solutions for enterprise-scale deployments ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Optimize existing workflows and systems to integrate GxP schema compliance and regulatory needs.
2. Migration and Decommissioning Strategy:
• Develop and execute strategies to decommission legacy tools (e.g., HPQC) and migrate projects to Atlassian platforms.
• Lead the migration of critical data, ensuring integrity, compliance, and user transition.
3. Plugin Utilization and Integration:
• Identify and implement relevant Atlassian plugins to enhance platform capabilities.
• Enable seamless integration with ML models, tools like Tosca, and other business-critical systems.
4. Scalable User Onboarding:
• Design a robust onboarding process for new users and teams to ensure platform adoption and scalability.
• Provide documentation and user training as needed.
5. Performance Optimization:
• Conduct performance tuning and implement enhancements for modules like Inventory, PK Modules, and other queryable systems.
• Ensure platform reliability and operational excellence.
6. Collaboration and Leadership:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, project leads, and technical teams to align platform solutions with business needs.
• Act as a subject matter expert for all Atlassian tools and workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 8-10 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions on Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Migration Expertise: Proven experience in decommissioning legacy platforms and leading end-to-end migrations.
• GxP and Compliance: Familiarity with GxP regulatory requirements for life sciences or highly regulated industries.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Atlassian plugins and integrations (e.g., X-Ray, Tosca, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with data migration tools, backup/restore processes, and automation.
• Knowledge of S3, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to optimize performance across systems.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) in Jira or Confluence.
• Experience in AI/ML integration or automation within Atlassian systems.
• Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical domain.
